Naika’s passion for landscape began while growing up in Haiti, a country of high mountainous lands that offers a range of lush to heavily deforested areas, and inspired her career in the landscape architecture field. She enjoys designing and creating distinguished, timeless landscapes that respond to the social engagement of a community, that create a crafty expression of project individuality, and that provide detail, recreation, and tenacity. She gained important experience while working for international landscape architecture and urban design firm Olin on a variety of projects, ranging from urban mixed-use to master planning commissions, from a historic park restoration to a public park. She also has experience in stream bank restoration and projects that promote ecology. Naika is dedicated to creating meaningful and artful designs.
