Lin is a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkely. She obtained a Master’s degree in landscape architecture and an undergraduate degree in urban planning from Tongji University in Shanghai.
Lin’s philosophy about landscape architecture is every site has its unique character, and the principal force behind site design is the understating of the site. With her experience of working with a planning institute and several designing firms, she learned to analyze the influence of the social, economic, and ecological factors of the city, learned how to use spatial design to improve people’s lives under the limits of urban factors, and to promote the relationship between urban planning and landscape architecture. Lin hopes her passion, experience, and skill-set will help her creates unique, resilient, and well-built places that last the test of time.
In 2019, while at Berkeley, she joined the Ground Up Journal group, and the team won the prestigious ASLA 2019 Honor Award in Communications.
At Terrain, Lin is currently working on the OCT Nanchang Marriott Hotel, Shopping Center, and Qushui Bay.
