Larry Pearson, ASLA, PLA, Consulting Principal

Larry provides senior level services in Land Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. A Masters degree in Landscape Architecture and 20 years as a design principal at a large firm have provided an extensive background at all project scales, land use types and phases of projects. Creativity in planning and design, a good understanding of the business of real estate development, the goal of adding value, and sensitivity to the users of a development all inform planning and design solutions. While Larry’s designs are often bold, graphically strong solutions, they are well grounded by the Client’s business needs, the realities of each site, the use by the site’s inhabitants, and project budgets. Skills in planning, design, construction detailing and construction administration have been Larry’s hallmark throughout his career of beautifully crafted projects. He is actively involved from concept to completion. Larry’s senior level consulting allows outside-the-box thinking, efficient, creative decisions and allows dialogue with the Client at a high level. Larry believes that planning of the land and design of development is a business investment. His planning and design goal is to add value to projects and provide Clients with a good return on investment by creating memorable, well designed environments. Awards have been received for the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai, DHS Office in Richmond, California and One Rincon Hill in San Francisco, amongst other projects. Examples of his work include Google Tech Corners in Sunnyvale; eBay Building B-17 in San Jose; Solaire in San Francisco; Ward Village Shops in Honolulu; Santana Row in San Jose; Watergate Offices in Emeryville; Meridian Business Campus in Aurora, Illinois; and Centro Oberhausen in Germany.
