Yiqing received her Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Master degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. Her studio project won multiple school-wide Design of Excellence Awards and a Texas ASLA Student Merit Award. She envisions the landscape as an experimental field where the relationship between human and nature is tested and recorded. She is always excited to learn the genius of each site and help weave its story by elaborate space and place-making. Prior to joining Terrain Studio, she interned at Olin, Design Workshop, NITA Shanghai, and the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center, where she honed her professional experience in a wide range of projects, including single and multi-family residences, mixed-use development, urban parks, civic plazas, resorts, green roofs and living walls. She is currently involved in the Hongni River Corridor SD in Tianjin and Tianhai Road Streetscape SD in Hanzhong, China.
